Wellness Checkups and Sick Visits in Shelburne, Vermont

Wellness Checkups

This begins at birth. We meet for a free pre-natal counseling session before a baby is born so the parents can ask questions. We'll travel to the hospital to examine the baby after the birth. Doctor visits start within the first week and continue through the first year.
Appointments are scheduled for one month, two months, four months, six months, nine months, twelve months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months, two-and-a-half years, three years, and then annually after that. Immunizations are part of these wellness checkups. We give personalized care to each patient.

Sick Visits and Injuries

We see newborns through age 21 for viral illnesses due to colds, allergies, asthma, and rashes. We see kids with autism, sports injuries, ear infections, constipation, and acne. We also diagnose and treat depression and ADD/ADHD. When you are a new patient, we gather past medical history in terms of allergies, hospitalizations, surgeries, current medical issues, and family history.
On your first visit, we gather information on current medications, immunizations, insurance information, address, and phone number. First-time appointments are longer than regular office visits. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. We encourage you to schedule a meet and greet if you're new in town or if you just want to change doctors.
